Let Us Introduce Our Organization

The Oklahoma Federation of Families is a state-wide family organization affiliated with the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health, dedicated exclusively to helping children with mental and behavioral health needs and their families achieve a better quality of life. 

The national organization:

• Provides leadership to develop and sustain a nationwide network of family-led organizations;
• Focuses the passion and cultural diversity of its membership to be a potent force for changing how systems respond to children with mental health needs, and to their families;
• Helps policy-makers, agencies and providers become more effective in delivering services and supports that foster healthy development for all children.

The Oklahoma Federation of Families also partners with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to provide technical assistance services to the Systems of Care sites throughout the state. 

Finally, we partner with the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth to support initiatives for positive youth development in selected sites across the state of Oklahoma.
